ROSACEA VEIN REDUCTION TREATMENT

Rosacea:  A condition of broken tiny blood vessels, flushing,  redness and often small, red, pus-filled bumps on the face

The Allegra IPL (Intense Pulsed Light)  treatment:  Oxyhemoglobin in the blood absorbs light from the IPL  and helps destroy capillaries that contribute to the appearance of rosacea. Over a period of 3-4 weeks, the vessels are resorbed, and facial redness diminishes.

Telangiectasias: dilated small blood vessels on the skin

IPL (Intense Pulsed Light)  is used to treat spider veins, the light generates heat in the veins. As a result this causes the walls of the veins to collapse. Eventually, these veins will be reabsorbed by the body and fade away after several weeks.

Cherry angiomas are benign (harmless) proliferations of blood vessels that appear as cherry-red bumps, most commonly on the upper trunk.

Occasionally, cherry angiomas can appear purplish or be confused for a mole. They are usually small in size but vary from 0.5 to about 6 mm in size.
